Payment Data Policy

At Helpisto, we use a simple and secure wallet-based payment system. When you need to add funds to your account, you are redirected to Stripe's secure checkout to complete the transaction. Once the payment is processed, the funds are added to your Helpisto wallet.

This approach ensures maximum security because we never see, handle, or store your payment card details or banking information.

We do not store any payment method information. Unlike services that save your card for future purchases, Helpisto does not retain:

• Credit or debit card numbers
• Bank account details
• CVV/CVC security codes
• Billing addresses linked to payment methods

Each time you want to add funds, you simply initiate a new Stripe payment. This "pay-as-you-go" approach means your financial data stays with Stripe, protected by their industry-leading security.

When you add funds to your wallet, here's what happens:

1. You select the amount you want to add to your Helpisto wallet
2. You are securely redirected to Stripe's checkout page
3. You complete the payment using your credit card, debit card, or other supported method through Stripe
4. Stripe confirms the payment to us
5. We add the funds to your Helpisto wallet

Throughout this process, your payment details remain exclusively with Stripe. We only receive confirmation that the payment was successful and the amount transferred.

For your wallet and transaction history, we only store:

• Wallet Balance: Your current available funds
• Transaction History: Amounts added and spent, with timestamps
• Stripe Transaction IDs: Reference numbers for support purposes
• Invoice Records: For billing and tax compliance

This information is necessary to track your balance and provide transaction history, but it contains no sensitive payment details.

Our wallet-based approach with Stripe provides several security benefits:

• Zero Data Breach Risk: Since we don't store payment data, there's nothing sensitive to steal
• Stripe Protection: All payments are protected by Stripe's fraud prevention and dispute resolution
• PCI Compliance: Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified, the highest level of security certification
• No Unauthorized Charges: Without stored payment methods, there's no risk of unauthorized recurring charges

If you need a refund or have a payment dispute:

• Wallet Refunds: Unused wallet funds may be refunded back to your original payment method upon request
• Stripe Disputes: For payment issues, you can also open a dispute directly with Stripe
